The conference was celebrating 100 years of biological sciences in Poznań and 35 years of the Faculty of Biology as an institution characterised by the science resarch at the highest level. Faculty of Biology of AMU is the centre of research cooperation which is open to all activities related to the development of basic research in biological sciences, bioeconomy and the protection of natural resources, both at the global and regional levels. The time of the Conference drew our attention to the latest scientific discovery, the need for interdisciplinary research, the excellent quality of the results of laboratory and field experiments and the innovation of didactic methodologies. Discussions and exchange of science ideas with our remarkable guests from many research centres in Europe and Poland is the value of success in presenting the results of our research.
