Demonstration of algae harvesting in the Lake Łeknińskie took place in vicinity of Łekno on 30th of August 2021. The algae harvester specially designed for collection of macroalgae and cyanobacteria by Baltic Environment (Lithuania) was demonstrated for stakeholders.
3rd September 2021 the project was presented during the on-line LIFE information Day “The circular economy and quality of life”, 110 participants.
The 13th progress meeting of the project management group took place live in Krakow. Results that were obtained as well as ongoing relevant issues were discussed. Conceptual model of a water harvester for collecting macroalgae and macrophyte biomass from the surface and undersurface layers of water reservoirs.
