The project Algae Service for LIFE was announced at the forum of agricultural and industrial companies „Chemistry for Agriculture in Karpacz” in Poland during plenar oral presentation „Bioactive compounds in freshwater algae” by Dr. Bogushia Łęska and „Impact of effective use of excess micro and macro-algae biomass on water resources” by Dr. Beata Messyasz, and during four discussion panels.

The project Algae Service for LIFE was presented at the international workshop-seminar „5th Kiel Days in Poznań”, Poland during the oral presentation: „Algae – way to the dominance” by Dr. Beata Messyasz (Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland).
The project Algae Service for LIFE was presented at the European kick-off of LIFE17 projects by the project coordinator Dr. Judita Koreivienė (Nature Research Centre, Lithuania). The event, held at the Crowne Plaza Brussels hotel, represented an opportunity for discussion and networking with other projects and stakeholders from many parts of Europe.
